Co-engineering at eye level

Custom solutions are a matter of teamwork. Constructive communication between the customer’s experts and our engineers forms the basis for lasting added value. Everything begins with specific requirements, general conditions and goals. After completing an in-depth analysis, our engineers deliver a number of suitable solutions, directly integrated in the vehicle’s data model. This service includes all required simulations, as well as detailed installation suggestions and proposals for designing the required processes. The ideal solution always combines technology, cooperation as partners and maximum efficiency.

Development objective – performance and safety

Our tests – tougher than reality

Performance monitoring under real conditions: Heat and cold chambers measuring 400 m³ in total are used to test components, entire driver’s cabs or even complete small vehicles in temperature and humidity ranges matching or exceeding the conditions they will encounter in later practical use. Testing is performed at temperatures between -40 °C and +55 °C and with relative humidity values from 20 % to 98 %. This begins with specially made prototypes. These function models are installed in the cabs and then subjected to a range of demanding tests from climate chamber testing to tests for impact and vibration resistance.
Systems tough enough to pass these tests will be fit for the daily rigors of practical use too.
